A traditional simple salad recipe from Crete. Juicy tomato, Greek feta and Kalamata Olives, distributed all over barley rusks, or the popular to all of us “Dakos”

INGREDIENTS
- 1 Dry Barley Rusk
- ¼ Feta cheese
- 1 Big Tomato and 2 small tomatoes
- A little salt
- Oregano
- Caper
- 65gr. Gaea Pitted Greek Kalamata Olives in brine 315ml
- Gaea Greek Authentic Extra Virgin Olive Oil 500ml
Method
- After sinking the barley rusks in the water we place them on a plate
- We grade the tomatoes on the barley rusks and we drizzle a little salt
- We add as mush cheese as we like with our hands
- We continue by adding the olives, oregano and caper
- Drizzling with Olive Oil will be the final step
Tip
You can replace feta cheese with other traditional Greek ones, such as "Xynomizithra"
